My family moved from Long Island to Watkins in the winter of my Senior year. After I graduated I moved from Watkins to look for a quieter life. Here is a bit in a nutshell. The summer after I graduated I went on to college and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at SUNY Brockport. (Well first I went to Cobleskill, then went to Mohawk Valley in Utica before I finally decided what I wanted to be. While going to college, I joined ROTC where I received a commission as an officer in the New York ARMY National Guard. I resigned in 1996 as a First Lieutenant. Since 1992, I have been working for a Fortune 500 company that makes kitchen ware. If anybody remembers me as a quiet shy person at Watkins, well I have changed. I am a Union Representative at my job. I recently went back two school and received my Masters in Business. I am thinking about going back and get my Doctorate. With my hectic work schedule and family, I may not be able to attend the reunion. However, someday I may swing into Watkins to see how the town has changed.
